Vishwas Purohit

I have 16 years of experience in journalism, including more than a decade in digital news strategy and audience growth. My work focuses on building scalable content systems, strengthening newsroom processes, and driving sustainable digital expansion. Over the years, I have worked across print, television, and digital media. I began my career as a reporter with Maharashtra Times, covering the Thane district. I later worked as an Associate Producer with TV9 Marathi, gaining strong experience in broadcast journalism. I have held leadership roles at Pudhari and Sakal, contributing to digital growth, content strategy, and newsroom transformation. I have also worked with Loksatta and Lokmat Digital, and briefly handled a leadership role at Burda Media (on-site at Microsoft). I completed my schooling in Dombivli and pursued my college education at Joshi Bedekar College, Thane. I believe sustainable digital success comes from understanding user intent, data behavior, and content relevance — and building strong editorial systems around them.
